BIO
Prof Dr Mohamed Ayman DAEF is a Consultant Architect, Urban Planner and Interior Designer. Prof Daef is CEO of BONIAN misr® Architectural Consultancy Firm, Professor of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Asyut - Egypt - and co-Founder and Member of the Board of Chancellors of the Egyptian Russian University in Cairo. Prof Daef has been the Consultant of Interior Design at the King's Office of HM King of Swaziland since 2010. He Obtained his M.Sc. and PhD Degrees from the Bartlett School of Architecture - UCL - University of London - UK.
Prof Daef has been Commissioned by the Government of Egypt since 1997 to Collaborate with the National Agency of Urban Planning as an Expert on Housing and Urban Planning. Prof Daef is also the Chairman of the Committee for the Preservation of Architectural Heritage in the Governorate of Asyut since 2007, and Member of the General Committee for Urban Harmony in Egyptian Governorates.
In January 1995, Prof. Daef Started his Private Architectural Practice in Hurghada City – Red Sea – Egypt, BONIAN misr®. In January 2004, Prof Daef Opened a Second Branch of BONIAN misr® in Asyut City. Known as a Host of Creative, Thoughtful and Meticulous Architects, BONIAN misr® has always Continued to Provide Prime Services to its Clients through Creativity, Consistent Determination and Hard Work. Prof Mohamed Ayman DAEF is also a Highly Qualified and an Extensively Published Researcher in the Fields of Urban Development, Housing & Regional Planning, Rural Development, Regional Tourism Development Planning, Vernacular Architecture and Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
Since Started, BONIAN misr® has Designed, Executed and Offered Consultancy Services for Hundreds of Projects that Range from Small Villas and Apartment Buildings to Royal Residences; from Hotel Facilities and Tourist Beach-Side Resorts to Housing Estates and Gated Communities; and from Sculptures and Landscaped Gardens to Government Buildings, Hospitals, Libraries and Office Buildings. A Zoo and an Olympic City have also been Conceptually Envisioned and Designed by BONIAN misr®.
